These terms govern your use of the GuruCarCheck website and vehicle-check services ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by BELAVIN LIMITED, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16735157), trading as GuruCarCheck ("we", "us", "our"). 2. Our service

GuruCarCheck provides vehicle information reports compiled from third-party data sources, including the DVLA, DVSA and licensed automotive data providers. A free preview is available for most vehicles; paid reports unlock additional data such as finance, write-off, stolen and mileage records.

3. Data accuracy — important

Our reports are compiled from data supplied by third parties and are provided for information only. While we take care to source data from reputable providers, we cannot guarantee that every record is complete, accurate or up to date, as this depends on the underlying sources and the timing of their updates.

A report reflects the records available at the time it is produced. It is not a substitute for an independent mechanical inspection or your own due diligence, and it does not constitute advice on whether to buy a vehicle. You should always verify critical details independently before making a purchase.

4. Pricing and payment

Prices for paid reports are shown on our pricing page and at checkout, in pounds sterling. Payment is taken securely at the time of purchase via our payment processor. We may change our prices at any time, but changes will not affect purchases already completed.

5. Your right to cancel and refunds

A paid report is digital content delivered immediately. By purchasing and accessing your report, you request that we begin supplying it straight away and you acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel once delivery has begun, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

This does not affect your legal rights if a report is faulty, not as described, or not supplied with reasonable care and skill. If something is wrong with your report, please contact us and we will put it right or provide a refund where appropriate.

6. Acceptable use

• You may use reports for your own personal, non-commercial purposes only, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• You must not resell, republish, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service.
• You must use any personal data contained in a report lawfully and in accordance with data protection law.
• You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage or impair it.

7. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the information in a report, and our total liability to you in connection with a report is limited to the amount you paid for it.

8. Intellectual property

The website, its design, content and the format of our reports are owned by or licensed to BELAVIN LIMITED and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may keep and print reports you have purchased for your own use.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page when you use the Service.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
